Holy cow. is that whats out now? These have been crazy the past couple of weeks. On the postive side, there are a lot less bikers to compete with on the trails, but my wife now calls me "bug man" when I get home.

Are those bites/stings or the aphids themselves plastered to your skin?

If its like it is here, those are the bugs themselves. Most of them die on you, but there are a few still twitching and it feels crazy.

It's just a head net. In a lot of places in Maine, you have to wear them during black fly season or die of blood loss. Your choice which looks worse, wearing a head net or covered with bugs.
