And protect your lighting! I was in a "hurry" today and locked up to a church fence. A few minutes later, my taillight is gone!

When I had a superflash (which was stolen so I just use a less bright taillight now), I'd have people leaning out of cabs to say my light was giving them seizures (jokingly) But seriously I think it might blind some drivers into having an accident.
I should clarify that I'm talking about the 140 with the O-ring mount -- you can re-aim it while riding and it'll stay put. The newer models with the screw mounts obviously can't do that. |
OK so on the 5th i ordered my Dinotte 140L and i got it today the 7th man that is fast!!
This light is bright as hell, the 4 wheelers will see me for sure now. The only problem i have is i ordered the light and Batteries with charger but they sent the one with out the Batteries and charger. Sent an email lets see what they say on Monday. |

There are brighter lights, but they cost quite a lot, and can be overkill except certain situations (heavy traffic comes to mind.)
Are there really different degrees of wanting to be seen? |
I hate flashing/blinking lights... I find them annoying (i.e., as someone seeing them from behind — of course, if they were on the back of my bike [they're not], I couldn't care less).

Another vote for the Superflash, its awesome.

I have a dinotte amber light up front and love it... I think I'm going to splurge on the tail light in 2010 (and I live in a foggy zone too)
