wished I had my commuting gear last night.

We were driving in my car last night and ended up being one of the first cars at the scene of an accident. A lady heading the other way ended up stopped with her car in the center lane of a four lane road after hitting a deer. The deer wiped out the front lights on his way over the car, making her gray car very hard to see in the darkness (we were on a stretch of road next to a wooded area with lots of deer). The deer was able to drag himself out of the way and both occupants of the car where unharmed, but we were all worried that someone would run into the disabled car before the police arrived. I had a wimpy 2AA flashlight in the car and just happened to be wearing a bright green raincoat, and was really wishing I had my Fenix L2D and my Illuminte jacket with me when I was trying to wave people into the other lane. Most everyone noticed something was different, but we did have one close call. And that was with some guy yammering away on his cellphone that managed to come to a panic stop a few feet short of the disabled car, he never even hung up as he went around us either.
