How come school traffic has dropped off in November?

I live a mile from a school and the mornings from 7-8AM have been very busy. But since daylights savings time I noticed the traffic has dropped off considerably. What could have happened for this? Do parents drop kids off early in the school year, then sign up for bus service in November?

Another possibility might be some areas have experienced consecutive days shutdowns due to flu epidemic.

FIXED

It's probably the way people's schedules are, some places hours actually change when Daylight Savings happens...

The people may be late, or early and still running on their old schedules, so less rush for once in the year.

Or, if you live in an area like i do, the kids got their first report card full of Fs and have given up on school already instead of trying harder.
