I use both bungee cord and bungee net to hold down the backpack full of change clothes, laptop, ect..

Nice set-up, but I'm not sure that is for the OP. It was stated they use their backpack for school, which implies files/folders/textbooks, which can get fairly heavy pretty quick. What's the weight limit on that freepack of yours?

Weight limit is 11-15 lbs, depending on model.

Tie up all straps so nothign is dangling and use 2 bungees, pretty tight. Nothing else is needed
