Ha I just spent a week in NOLA. I'm glad my wheels and ass could take the abuse.

I did eat **** big time last night from a big bump, at 20mph. I don't know how people ride with speed here

I thought New Orleans was a deep pot hole. At least the part below sea level.

It's a pot hole with pot holes

ollyisk 01-04-10 02:19 AM

daven1986 01-04-10 03:56 AM

gerv 01-04-10 07:14 PM

What is significant about this photo, is that the bike has fenders! Think they are keeping his feet dry????

I don't think so. It's my understanding, that by noon they had to take to the street again.. :D

Yeah, especially at the beginning, where the guy is explaining something like it's a news report.

HillCusser 01-05-10 09:30 AM

I'm surprised wet foo commuter, didn't give lite-blue bike fishin' man the boot for lack of an early warning - kept his cool though. Maybe wet-foo is still in shock, or wondering iffin they just waxed the floors at the office..

Humorous POV translation:
Foreground man: "Watch your step, please." ;)
Cyclist: "Ouch! Now you tell me"

I wouldn't be surprise if that's what they did say.
