I hardly get the flippin bird thing unless I give it to them first. Driver just assume that I don't know any better than to be where they thinK I should not be. Yes they do tend to be nicer to women over men. When I have all my hair tuck in behind under my helmet, wearing extra layer clothing, and they are behind me is when I do get comments about how to ride my bike on the road. They assume I was a guy from initial contact. Usually I smile and they just grin and backoff. If I do birdie them, they will birdie me back with the good old tune of "F you B**ch. Road rage or bike rage???? Doesn't matter but gotta love it. LOL
