We`ve just had 2 weeks of cont. rain .Phew ! do my cycling shoes stink or wat :( .The "handbrake" (wife) wont let me put them in the airing cupboard `cos of the smell ,in fact they`r out side the door !
We are lucky to have showers & a drying room at work , due to the nature of our job but I`m reluctant to dry out the shoes too quick in case it roots them ! Oh well its stopped raining to-day :) so I`ll hang them on the line , hopefully once they`re dry the smell will subside :D .

You have to remember that the hills are only 15km from the city centre so thousands of people drive to work on narrow winding roads that are fog bound and wet. With a population of a million in Adelaide about 10-15% live in the hills. That's a lot of cars. Even buses and small trucks use these roads. The fog is what makes it dangerous. I wouldn't have a problem riding in the hills if there were no cars. I can dream.:D
