I can't make out what bike it is, but you need new bar tape. What width of tires are you running, as you're riding the snow as well. What group is on it? Looks like either Campagnolo something, or Shimano Sora...

If you look around this forum, you'll find many cyclists rationalizing a (somewhat thin) reason to get another bike. From the looks of your ride you seem to have good cause to get a new bike and yet you fight the urge. Whats wrong with you? ;)

Interesting commute route. It must be fun on a windy day.

You must have had that computer a long time because I've got one of those that I bought about 10 years ago. However, mine quit working several years ago.

It's an older (2002 I believe) Schwinn Super Sport. SORA components nothing fancy but gets the job done. And I agree on the bar tape. It is on the to do list.
The tires are 700X23
LMAO!! Yeah I have other ones and rationalize for more mountain bikes. HAHAHA I ride them on this commute sometimes.

It can be a PITA on a windy day but I still enjoy it. And the computer is close to 10 years now and I hope it keeps working!

You guys must like fences over there in Colorado-land. In the 4th picture from top there is a fence on each side of the bike path, then on each side of each road side. That makes 6 parallel fences!

In the first pic I am on that road for maybe .75 miles

That area is a mix. It's near a small airport and multiple big corp building and a little farm land. There are plenty of fences I agree

2002 isn't that old. I'm riding a 2002 as well, though not a Schwinn. I'm only one group above you in the food chain, I ride Tiagra ;)

How do you experience riding 700Cx23 in the snow? Am I a real wussy not riding to work in the snow right now? :s

If it is not deep or ice covered I am fine, if the roads are totally covered I will ride my mountain bike.

Seems like a barren commute. Guess it's winter. It feels lonely.

Beautiful! I agree with the poster who said it looks windy. I bet the wind RIPS through your commute in the spring and fall. I grew up in South/Central Idaho. It looks very similar.

I can also relate about the bar tape. It seems like you can just "tough things out" on the commuters...even though they usually get more miles than any of the other bikes in the stable.
