Grappling hook. Don't supose they get snagged with the snow removal trucks dumping in the river do you?

My work cohorts in Augusta GA tell me the canals are full of bikes. Then never drag them out for me and I never seem to be able to spot them when I am down that way.

I hope nobody was riding them at the time! How did you take these photos? Were you diving, boating, on a bridge?

Apparently the Amsterdam canals have so many discarded bikes in them that they need to periodically dredge them so they remain navigable.

I took the pics with a cam I got used for 35 bucks and jumped the hand rail on the river walk to take them. I had to use the zoom but I could only see them do to the ice and if you click on the photos and zoom in on them you can see 1000ends of little fish! Neet. I think it was sort of neet that the one with the back wheel missing landed over a tire and the clear ice acted as a lens. everything has the same muttled finnish and shade to it. Sort of artsy fartsy.
