Holy cats!

Doohickie 05-18-10 10:41 PM

Whoa! :twitchy:

Greyryder 05-18-10 10:43 PM

 :twitchy:

The cyclist survived, but I imagine that his seat is now completely unusable.

ebrake 05-18-10 11:44 PM

WOW...and that is my biggest fear of intersections displayed right before my eyes. You can take as many precautions as you want about where you need to be to avoid a moving vehicle that is actively being piloted by a driver, even an unpredictable one. But once those f*ckers make contact and start spinning and sliding all you have is luck (I guess, unless you have the space and the power/brakes to react aka car/motorcycle, and even then you're gonna need some luck). Dude truly has horseshoes up his butt. Things like this scare me in a car, on a bike or as a pedestrian.

The Force was definitely with him.

pathdoc 05-19-10 08:12 AM

Wow, just wow.

EEK! Wow. That was sooo close.

serra 05-19-10 09:34 AM

:O That's freaky!

JeremyZ 05-19-10 10:53 AM

Wow, he was indeed lucky. This is the kind of thing that doesn't happen on MUPs. ;)

idiotekniQues 05-19-10 11:52 AM

that guy just cashed in his good karma check

SlimAgainSoon 05-19-10 12:08 PM

Wild ... if true.

skadoosh 05-19-10 12:14 PM

its true

Seattle Forrest 05-19-10 12:34 PM

There's another thread with a different animated gif of this same event, in the A&S forum. I was pretty sure it was a fake, but ( without knowing much about 4D modeling software ) I'm guessing it would be twice as intensive two make two fake videos.

Pretty insane. That's a lot of debris to go through the wheels...!

jrshanks 05-19-10 06:37 PM

If he was in a car(not no a bike) that very bad

coldfeet 05-19-10 07:50 PM

I have absolutely no argument with the title of this thread. :twitchy:

That guy was on a Big Dummy.

common man 05-19-10 08:29 PM

any casualties? did the innocent driver in the white car survive? i assume that he released his brakes that is why his car was able to fly off (good thing since it reduced inelastic impact).

not true, earlier this year there were a couple of crashes that ended up on a mup, including at least one cyclist death.

wunderkind 05-19-10 09:40 PM

Dude's not even wearing helmet! :)

gitarzan 05-19-10 09:49 PM

That rider just won the lottery.

Ottawa2009 05-20-10 11:50 AM

Being on a bike saved his or her life.

Soma Roark 05-20-10 12:17 PM

Is this real?! Why was there no reaction elicited from the biker? Did it just happen too fast? I mean it seems like he didn't even divert from his path! I think I soiled myself...
