2 minute survey

Hi

If you could please take 2 minutes to complete my survey it would really help my research. I am a 4th year planning student from QUT. The survey is very quick and simple and I will be happy to share the results with any interested parties.

Cycle centres or end of trip cycle facilities are usually comprised of enclosed bicycle parking, showers, lockers and change rooms and aim to make commuter cycling easier and more appealing.

So, since you're posting this on a board that includes cyclists from all over the world, you're not looking for area specific results?

Seems to me the answers would be vastly different for one area than another and asking such a wide range of areas would make results not very useful.

The survey is a bit too simple. My office building provides an outdoor bike rack, but it's not really clear from the questions whether that qualifies or or whether "bike storage" only includes secure indoor facilities.

I considered a bike rack to mean storage. But I guess someone could still slash my tires or steal my saddle...

This might be a tough business sell, because it would have to be cheaper, smaller, and much more numerous than health clubs. (which have showers & lockers)

I think maybe a better business opportunity would be to offer cyclist-specific body wipes. They would be thicker than baby wipes, about the size of a washcloth, and not too expensive.

Hi Chris,
Took your survey.

I graduated from QUT about 10 years ago haven't been back since. How's the bike path along the river? I know around 2001 2002 there was some kind of debate going on over if it should be a bike path or multi use path.
