I liked trying it out the other day, and am now considering it. The frame has just about everything I want, and the aesthetics are pleasing.

I definitely cannot recommend trying what those guys in the first photo are doing though, the basket really isn't rated for heavy loading. I believe it was 20 or 25 kilograms.

The article that the photo accompanied stated that the author (the rider in the first photo) and his colleague (guy on the front rack) were "testing" the front rack on their test bike, the Globe Live 1. It was a fun test, and they knew the rack was rated for only 25 kg.

The rack, by the way, survived.

The Globe 1 (in the photo) is really a solid bike for north of $500. Just ordered one.

Best,
Johnny
