I lost 20 lbs in 20 days
Now I can justify a lighter bike

I'm pretty sure weight loss that fast isn't healthy. How did you do it?
|
Maybe it was all water weight ?

Good job dogbro! I too am trying to lose #'s and hope my success will be as good as yours. I ride about an hr each day...12miles give or take...long rides on weekends but just starting out but not dropping weight yet....but sticking with it...I never give up and I just love to ride.
Congrats once again! |
I can't eat for jack's crap. I need this strange drink which gives me my nutrients which causes my body to refresh and need food. I could go for 3 days without eating, and not feeling that hungry. I wonder if I'm anorexic? Naw...Im like 5'3 -5'4 and am 115lb.

I think you forgot to mention that you had your COLON cleansed.

Vigorous cycling at 15 mph will burn about 1000 calories/hr. That would be about 3 hrs/day riding. But if you're only riding 11 miles, that makes your speed about 4 mph, dropping you burn rate to 240 calories/hr. At which point you'd need to ride 290 hrs or 15 hrs/day....but that would lower the aforementioned 11 mile pace to 3/4 mph...........and on and on and on.

That kind of weight loss is un healthy
|
I have to disagree with Wildcard it is quite possible it's just a matter of the individual's situation. I was 265 (I should probably be around 195-200)when I started trying to lose weight last Feb. and just shifting my diet and exercising about an hour every day I lost 33 lbs. in the first 28 days. I'm not asserting that this is healthy and I have slowed the process greatly since then and have dropped another 33 lbs. since the initial blitz diet. I can nonetheless testify from personal experience that kind of weight loss can be achieved.
All that said I reiterate I don't think losing that fast is healthy and as some have said before alot of it is just water. Riley. |
