Around here, pedestrians who think they own the road , and unruly cyclists.

I'm not complaining though.

8ft piece of 1/2 plumbing pipe in the middle of the road when turning a corner washing out the front wheel....ouch! That was 20 years ago and it still hurts to think about it.

Slippery things (ice, snow, wet leaves, sand) have caused the most crashes. People exiting driveways have caused the most swerving.

Drive like every other road user is going to do exactly the wrong thing at exactly the right time to ruin your day/week/month/year/life.

Mine is unusable bike lanes because they are full of gravel and crap from sanding the roads over the winter. Called multiple times and asked for them to run a sweeper down the 2.5 mile stretch with two bridges that the lane is unridable and was told.. "No money" to sweep.

The pisser is while they can't do some safety maintenance for lack of money they have money to bring in about 30 truck loads of top soil and grade the medians so they can make the median in the same stretch pretty.
