Motion detector alarm - where can I get one?

I found this: https://www.bikeguardlocks.com/archiv.../bikealarm.php which would seem ideal, but they will not send it to me as they do not ship to the US. I have seen a couple of such alarms on these forums but I cannot find them (how do you make "search" target the actual post? I seem to have uncommon difficulty finding what I want using either regular or advanced search)...

I am being forced to park my bike in a cage and I want to a) use the Sheldon system - no problem. b) Cover the bike - no problem, and c) Use a motion detector - problem...

Does anyone know where I can get a motion detector? And if anyone in Canada can send me one of the Bike Guards, or know how I can get one in the US, I think that might be good too. (He told me that it is getting very difficult to ship to the US these days, what are we doing to ourselves?)

Cheers - Lawrence

I have the Gallop alarm which is sold by Deal Extreme, Meritline and other online retailers for around $7.00. It has 3 sensitivity settings and I've got mine set on high. Gently touching the handlebars, seat or frame will set off the alarm. Here's a video I posted--if you go to the very end (47 seconds), you'll see how gently touching the seat sets off the alarm. When I have the bike parked in my garage, just walking up quickly to it can set off the alarm.

Suntek "Motor Alarm/Code Security ..." motion activated bike alarm

Suntek Motor Alarm/Code Security Steal Lock Mope Item Number: 10007628. $7.23 including shipping anywhere in the world. Search BikeForums; there is at least one thread on this about a year ago that was favorable. The alarm is appropriately loud and there are three levels of motion sensitivity.

I like the wireless arm/dearm on that link. Very interesting product. I hail from Canada so no problems getting it here. I'm not sure how bad the bike theft problem is in BC as I'm sure they have trial tested it locally.

I know Toronto is bad for bike theft. I would like to know on the other DX bike alarm how that worked in -20C temps in the winter time? Also curious if both alarms could be frozen via say upside down can air duster and freeze the sensor or something to defeat it.

That LED DIY light rocked my world. I want to know more on how that was made. What LED's used (specs plz)? What regulators/etc...

I love bike alarms but need to find more reviews on them and tested in some really bad places umm say NYC would be a good proving test ground.

Update: I found this too: https://www.ducharmealarmsystems.com/

It is available through https://www.redhot-products.com/index...roducts_id=180 but is marked as Sold Out...

I contacted them and they immediately replied saying they expect to have stock in 2 months and they will contact me when they come in. Not sure how good it is but it looks promising. I'll post here when I get one and give a brief review. They told me they ship world-wide.
