So... what I can conclude here is that if my accessory budget is high - get the Dinotte 400R, if it's moderate - the Radbot 1000, and if it's modest - the PBSF. Is that about right? Since all three will help you get noticed then budget should determine the purchase. No one wants to be "less safe" than the next rider but let's face it; not all of us can afford to spend $200 - $300 on a taillight.

For lights in the US, it's also unusual. I didn't say it was a bad thing. (But it's strange they don't include a flashing mode.)

IMHO, the Radbot 1000 cancels out the PBSF since they are pretty much both the same retail price. Even thought the PBSF can be found on sale quite easily, it's only an extra 10-15 bucks to get you a noticeably brighter light with better build quality and it comes with 3 different mounting brackets included so nothing extra to buy or cobble together.
