Thought I'd post this to see if anyone can help. Then, maybe contact the Prince if you recognize the scum, er, suspects.

I saw this on Washcycle this morning too -- sucks. The reaction of the police seems about par for the course for most cycling-related crime.

It is rather hard to track down a bike as they are sometimes more hard to identify than a 3000 lb car with a license plat one it that has to be registered. Bikes don't even have to be registered which furthers the problem.

Ill gotten gain doesn't come without a price to pay later. I hate bike thieves. In big cities other cyclists will beat the crap out of anyone stealing a bike.

Sorry, man. I know it sucks. I hope that they manage to find the thief. Having had my last bike stolen from my locked garage in Brookland a few years ago, I can certainly empathize... I filed a police report and all, but it didn't lead to anything other than some extra paperwork for an officer and an another statistic.
