Didn't get to ride to work today. :(

I had to pick up an iMac at the Apple Store and bring it back to work, so it was easier just to stay. I've not felt right all day. Bicycle commuting rules, cars drool.

Hahaha! I know what you mean. It stormed one day this week and I had to stop and pick up some hardibacker for the bathroom on another day. I had to drive two days! All day people kept asking me "hey, where's your bike?"

It started wearing on me by the end of the day and I was getting grouchy.

I was able to ride today, though. Back to abnormal.

I have to drive for a couple of days next week while bike is in the shop -- not looking forward to it :-/

It rained all night two nights ago and I woke up late for class so I thought I was going to have to drive. When I looked outside, the sun was out and I thought, "If I dont ride, Im going to be pissed and hate myself." I skipped breakfast, rode-25-30 mph for the first two miles and cruised in the last 3. Coincidently, we worked in groups that day and one person asked, "So you ride your bike everyday?"

Heh, I got grouchy a week ago when I couldn't bike for two days in a row. The addiction, it has taken hold.

Perfect business case for a second, backup bike. Keeping a car for your backup is expensive.

That's why we call it the Ride of Shame.

I understand your pain, drove the van the other day due to storms in the forcast and having to be at a doctors appointment (didn't want to be soaked in the docs office). I felt crappy all day.
