Which MS to get from Geoman?
Ok, I'm convinced to pull the trigger on the MS now that I read the tail-light review by ItsJustMe (thanks!)
I'm trying to figure out which combo setup to get.
My main use will be on an 18 mile each-way commute on flat roads and wide shoulder, but with ample car traffic both facing and with me the entire way. So blasting a ridiculous amount of lumens might not be totally feasible. (Ok if I can turn the intensity down, though.)
I'd like to also get the MS taillight combo and run off the same battery.
I see the "1400watt" racer's combo as well as the standard MS+tail.
My typical speed on the flats in daylight commutes is 22mph moving - I'd like to keep it over 18 if possible unless the lighting isn't adequate. (My trusty FENIX is great as a slower light, but over 20, it's not enough. It'll still be used as a helmet light.)
Feel free to make suggestions, esp if you've got one.

I don't have the taillight, I do have the 900 lumen (rated) headlight It has proven to be more than adequate for my semi-rural six mile commute. I feel comfortable going 18 mph with it.
I used to roll with a 3 watt MAG light-4D cell w/2-3AA cell mini-mag lights, the MS is like a quantum leap in lighting.

The 900 should be fine for that commute. I can't speak to the tail light. Your speed should make the time plenty adequate for the battery life, though I'm not sure how much running the tail light off the same battery will shorten that. I use separate tail lights (2xPBSF's+RadBot).
The 1400 seems silly.
Also, it's not 1400 watts. That would cook your handle bars as well as you.
