Suffering withdrawal

I had to give up my commute on friday on account of driving across town to work on a job-site. Same again monday:mad: Also next week on thursday I have to do a safe driving course and will miss out on a ride.:notamused: I guess looking at this another way it means I will be just so pleased to ride the other days.

I hate it to when I have to go to some function or other so I can't ride in. The worst is when this happens and it starts raining and some clown will invariably say "Aren't you glad you don't have to ride home in this weather?" My reply, Yeah, and I'm also glad I'm not a fat ass with clogged arteries like you.

Juvenile, but I have very much been similarly tempted.

Single-car household and the occasional transport of the baby keeps me off the bike for a few one-way trips a week...even that is no good. I'd rather take these 18+ mph headwinds to the face on every ride than drive a vehicle. People call me crazy :)
