Brooks help: using a B17/flyer for roady bikes?

can i use a brooks B17/flyer for my handlebars below my saddle type bike? or do i need to get something a little slimmer like the B15 so that my thighs dont rub the saddle?
my legs arent un-naturally large as a note and my bars are just a little below my saddle. weight is a non-issue

Yes you can... I have the Brooks Flyer installed on my road bike turned townie. The ride is very comfortable.
