Bike compute in China
I don't know how they do it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=QESfEd180rQ Edit: I just realized I put compute instead of commute, my bad. |
They're all so polite about it. Not one person tried to pick a fight with the driver.
|
Maybe they need to put a stop light at that corner.
|
It looks like people are driving with their eyes closed, jeezus. Did you see that one where the car sloooowly bumped into the ped? I... just don't understand, don't they have stop signs and traffic lights in china?
wtf |
Incredible!
As sick as it may sound, some of the accidents seem so funny! Do drivers get special discounts if they run down cyclists? Cracked me up to see one of the cyclist heading straight into a motorcycle. Traffic lights and stop signs must be expensive to set up. What's amazing is people seem to be so nonchalant about it. |
The "accident" starting at 1:59 is just incredible. Did she not see the guy standing there? Was that the best solution she could come up with to get him move? I'd be so pissed.
|
That video is just bat**** insane.

I commute daily in China and have never seen a fight resulting from road rage, thought I see things that would result in fights in other countries everyday.
Lots of Zen here, really. z |

The accidents in this video also seems to have no fatal results--at least as far as can be seen. Some even look like playing :) (notice there is no painted arrows on the streets at the crossroad, no wonder so many accidents.) It seems every victim knew some Kong Fu :D |
Maybe it's just me and it's hardly because I'm squeamish, but I stopped that video after the second accident when I realized what the compilation was about. I don't look at compilation crash videos or even repetitive instant replay of football injuries, etc. either. Injuries are realities (and experiences) of sports I participate(d) in, but not wanted in my psyche while doing it to the fullest... or memories of it in the past.
P.s. The Bike "compute" thing threw me off too. I thought this thread was about technology. |

Definitely scary stuff. At 3:09 is that some sort of police car getting hit? Could be a cab of some sort, hard to tell. |
No lights, no rules.
And, obviously, no lawyers ;) |
