Supergo Access 03 XCL Frame for multiuse bike?

Just wondering if anyone had any opinions on this frame. I'm wondering if it'd be good to build up as a multi-purpose bike, i.e. cantilever brakes, drop bars, bar end shifters, 700cx35 tires, touring fork, rack, panniers...you get the idea.

Here's the address to the product page.

Unless I missed something, it looks like a standard MTB frame designed for 26" wheels. so you couldn't use 700x35 tires.

It also looks like attaching a real rear rack (not a seat-post rack) might be difficult.
I didn't see any eyelets near the seat cluster for attaching the rack, and I wasn't sure if there were eyelets on the dropouts, either.

I use an aluminum framed MTB (trek 6500) for commuting. I found an attachment that allowed me to put a rack on the back (the attachment provided a place to bolt the rack at the top of the seat stays), but found the chainstays too short for medium-sized panniers due to heel clearance problems. Instead I just throw my stuff into a backpack and ride to work.

It is a nice-looking frame.

Nashbar has a touring frame/fork for $50 more that would probably work better. The pictures page has 2 pics of it, one with the bare frame/fork, and the one below of the bike all built up. They must sell them in their store like that. I'd love to ride it. Seems like there's a 10% off coupon code floating around here too...

duh, you're right *oops* about the wheels....i was going for the image, rather than the true specs when I was describing my plans. So I guess if I got this I'd go with 26x1.25....
but you're probably right about the chainstay length...I was noticing that too...I wear size 11.5 shoe so...maybe not the best idea.
