13.2 v niterider battery suggestion?

much appreciate battery advice -- my old classic twin beam niterider 13.2 v battery is dying, and niterider says it doesn't make that battery in a water bottle anymore. i think it's a nicad. does anyone have suggestions on getting a replacement battery that would fit in a water bottle, and how to seal it? thanks a lot, jeff

get 11 solder terminal rechargeable 1.2v batterys, put them in series, that is 13,2v.

I have some of their Ni Cad water bottle batteries, they poured canning wax in
around the completed battery bundle..

C sized cells may fit 11 and have a decent amp Hr capacity.

Rebuilt a bottle battery with the C's for $30. If you have a Battery+ most of them can rebuild a battery IF it is potted in a way they can get it apart. The one I rebuilt had some expanding foam it was potted in and wasn't much trouble to get it apart.

Canning wax is going to be a little more tricky. It melts about 125-130f you could set it in a double boiler that is about 150f and melt it and pour it out. I wouldn't get it any hotter then that.

You can go down to wally world and buy the rechargable c's and that may be the cheaper option. Get the highest amp hour "Ah" rating they have. Then solder them together in the same way as the ones yoou tak out.

Batteries Plus

So far they have rebuilt 6 different types of battery packs for me and they all work great.

One of those non water bottle boxes that are made to put tools and cellphones
in waterbottle cages may be easier to work around , than using an actual bottle ...
