Powdercoating in the Portland, OR area?

I picked up my used frame for my commuer project and I'm thinking of powdercoating the frame. Can anyone recommend a place in the Portland area with fair pricing and does a good job? Thanks.

Class Act powdercoating. They are off of 67th somewhere, you can find them easily in the phone book.

They will strip a frame & fork as well as powdercoat the whole thing for $120. Pretty reasonable and they do a good job as well. My friend, Joseph Ahearne, of www.ahearnecycles.com uses them for all of his frames.

do you have to fully disassemble the frame/fork before taking it in?

This sounds like a good recommendation. I've been toying with the idea of having S&S couplers added to my Bruce Gordon BLT at the same time as a powercoat, and I wonder if I could have that done locally (or in Eugene, Oregon)...

Yes, you would have to completely dissassemble the bicycle. This would include removing BB's and headset cups as well. I am going to be having them PC my Trek commuter a nice camp stove green in the near future.

I am heading out to talk to my frame-building buddy today - I'll ask him about the S&S conversion. If he isn't up for it, he'll know someone local who is.
