Coolmax turtlenecks

Here is a good price ($4.95) on Duofold Coolmax turtlenecks. Yeah, I know it says Women's guys, but who cares? Turtlenecks are turtlenecks, and you can't beat the price. I bought a couple of these last year, and they work great.

Good find, looks like a great base layer.

but how to know if it will fit? it is a good price I spent a bit more last eyar. I need new ones because of my weight loss.

Wow, that's a great price! How do they compare to Under Armor? My UA shirt is fantastic but very expensive. It won't be long before I need to replace it. I wear it almost every day.

It's hard to generalize about sizes because the fit can be "performance" (snug) or "comfort" in the Duofold wicking shirts. Generally, though, I find that one size up works fine. If you wear men's M get women's L. For base layers you want a closer fit. I would rather have a snug fit than a loose one and Coolmax is very stretchy.

I don't know how they compare to Under Armour, but I do know that I personally am willing to compromise for the difference between $5 and $30. :D Duofold products are very high quality.

Womens!! You coming out of the closet;-) I myself have discovered womens clothes. The have more inexpensive outdoor clothing than men that are often on sale. I have purchased Lowa boots(paid 19.95 for 100.00 pair), Sporthill XC3 pants for winter riding(used on ebay for 15.00 retail at 135.00). Now all i need is a sports bra(bro). Charlie

Womens... I have discovered kids clothing. My problem is that I'm short and fairly tiny and can fit in a kids XL or 18/20 size pants. My convertable hiking pant/shorts are kids. My inseam is only about 28" and my waist size is 31 so I can just fit in the largest kids pants I can find and since a lot of the convertable pants are zippered in the legs, you can't alterate them so I tried on some kids Columbia brand conversion pants and they fit great!

BTW, I like duofold stuff too as base layers, I have bought a bunch of them from STP... (See my coupon in the Hot deals section for free shipping, if you have more to buy from them)

I am a 6 ft, 175lbs, medium/large-34 W/34L. A womens XL in sporthill pants fit fine, including length. Can't speak for other brands. I think I could have even fit a large but was worried about the waist. Find a women around your size and ask for her clothing size.....better not;-) Charlie
PS Usually online catalogs tell women to order 1 size up so I would reverse for the men, 1 down.

Yup
Last year I was looking for base layer polartech tights, Active Endeavors had a nice ones for $ 75 US then I saw a very similar ones at the Woman's Gap rack for 9.99!
I have to say that it was a little embarasing the long look from the cute girl cashier "ahhmm they are for my girlfriend" :D

SORRY: meant: men go up 1 size, and women go down. I'll leave that last part alone as this site is rated PG13;-) Charlie
