Dozens of bungees and terrycloth towels I use as garage rags, about 200.00 in cash, spanners, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, a Leatherman, framepumps, bike taillights, multi-tools, unopened tubes of marine grade grease and silicone caulk, unopened box of a dozen magnum condoms. They're all gone now. They were a little small for me.

Once found an automobile disk brake assembly in the bike lane still dripping break fluid.

This dinosaur found during a snack break at my local park. Poor little guy had been glued back together at least once. I left it on the table (shown) so maybe the owner can recover it.

At least the bikes look OK. Although the one is going to need a new rear wheel.

it's got grip shifters, and an embarassing collection of letters painted onto the downtube, I'd recommend replacing the whole bike

Yesterday I found probably about 30 thin copper rods, like not quite 1/8" thick, and about 18 inches long, scattered all over the bike lane and some in the road. About half of them were straight-ish, and half were mangled by being run over by cars. Pretty easy to bend.

I'm not sure if they're real copper, or like just copper solder or something. But if it was solder, wouldn't it have been on a spool instead of rods?

Sounds like brazing rods.

Tools, a Columbia parka, coins, and a $3000 gas detector that fell of a fire truck.

This little guy was just laying in the turn lane. Not too often you see something like that still in one piece. I had to save him. Full confession I was driving for this. I had to park and cross two lanes of traffic. I was actually wishing I'd been on a bike. I could have just pulled up beside it.
