Cateye beam looks like... cateye??

Has anyone noticed that on their new cateye EL500 1 watt LED light that the beam in the center literally LOOKS like the cateye cat?
That's disturbing that I'm beaming out their logo.

if i'm not mistaken, that fact is actually advertised in some fo the promotional material for that light on the web.

The cateye logo looks kinda like this:

There's no way a beam would be shaped like that unless it was on purpose. I'm getting another one today, so with 2 beams, it'll look like a pair of boobs in front of my bike.

My cat-eye HL-EL300's beam dosn't look like that at all. just a nice round beam. Is it supposed to be on all lights?

Mine is exactly the same way - about twice as wide as high, which is actually quite usefuI. I always thought of it as "The Bat Signal"
