A little bit more freedom

Hey guys and gals. I feel a little silly posting this (a who cares post), but I read all of your posts almost nightly, and I feel like you're my cycle friends that I have a beer with at the end of the day.

I sold my car yesterday, leaving me with my van that I pretty much have to leave with the wife. It also leaves me committed to a 54 mile daily round trip. I am so enjoying my time on the bike. Anyway. Be safe out there guys

That's a nice distance for a commute. I've had shorter and longer, but around 50 miles is really the sweet spot. It's just long enough that on those days when it is hard to start, by the time you get halfway there you are in a rhythm and enjoying it. Have fun.

Sweet distance, no need for a bus like me. It sounds like you're doing well, good job!

Wow! 54 miles RT. Terrific! More power to you. Are you going to be doing this when winter sets in up there in Northern Michigan?

Nope, I'm moving this summer. Not that I'm stopping commuting/riding, I'm just changing things up.
