Rack mount lighting question...

Hello all again.

Here is my Jekyll again just incase you hav enot seen it...

It is much different now... well a little... What a difference some nice big tires can make Of course they are a little heavier also but that is ok.

This is my patrol bike and I am still pondering the lighting on the bike. I have a clip on rack and I usually have the nite rider light hooked on the back of the ramp. The problem is that makes the rack hard to remove. I am going to mount the rack higher up on the seat post and mount the light lower with a seat post clamp. I am now looking for a battery powered light that can attach to the rack. It is a top peak rack with two mounting hole options. I prefer led tail light and something reasonable.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Don't know how important bright taillight is to you.You might want to check out the cateye TL-LD1000. It's about $35 at REI. It will mount on a rack but needs to be fastened with nylon ties. It is designed to go around the seat post.

You can get LED battery lights that are designed to bolt onto the rear rack plate.
Busch and Muller D Toplight is one of the best.
