My new 1st commute bike
I really wanted a more expensive bike that I was drooling over. But realize that was not to happen. I need to stay on my budget. So this is it.

I have a back rack to put on and the pedals were the beach type which they are replacing. I had to pay for the kickstand? Something new now? When did that start. I got the mens small cause I have short legs but taller on top ...I need the reach (handlebars)which mens bikes have. I like the mens bike look any way. I got all gray and I love it. I just put some money down on it and will pick it up next week. Can't wait!!!

always rides with luggage
Congratulations... I want to see it with the giant mirrors.
Bikes never come with kickstands anymore... maybe at Wal-Mart, but not in an actual bike shop. I've bought... 6 complete bikes in 11 years, and not a one of them had a kickstand. The bike shops get a little $$ from the accessories.

Congrats!!! Raleigh makes good bikes. I have an M-80 MTB, about 14 years old.
Is there a Cycle Gear near your area? They have a $7 kickstand that is made in USA.
Be sure to take pics of you riding it with a big grin!!!

I have a kickstand I couldn't keep on the one bike I built and didn't buy. It is in the shed.

Congrats on the Raleigh. I bought a Sojourn in January and couldn't be happier.
