Paint collor question

I own a 2011 Cannondale SL4 Trail in green, been using the bike most of the time for commuting by switching to street tires bike is quick and very responsive I absolutely love it. Decided I want to go rigid on this bike, and been thinking of getting niners carbon fiber rigid fork, I would love to match the color but I am not sure if bike manufacturers use the same color schemes? Niners green is called Kermit Green while Cannondale is just green lol. Any one know how to find out? I know car manufacturers keep a track of color codes how about bike manufacturers? Any one? Thanks.

I doubt it's the exact same color but since you wouldn't be seeing them right next to each other, it might be close enough. Is the return policy generous? You could always try the green and if it doesn't look right go with a white or black, - maybe even some other complimentary color.

Well I don't want to pay for shipping if the color dose not match ;), than I guess I would be better off with black (carbon fiber) look instead.

Looking at both the Niner Bike and 29'r fork, they both look to be the same color and shade. But I agree with tjspiel that it is highly unlikely that it is.

Sometimes places will pay return shipping if you're just getting another one. It might be worth asking. Alternatively you could see what the difference is between shipping 1 and 2 forks, if it's the same or only slightly different, then maybe returning which ever one you don't use wouldn't cost all that much. For a $400 fork an extra $10 or $20 to find a matching one doesn't seem that bad.

Their site has a dealer search too. Maybe an LBS would be willing to help you out and you could avoid shipping costs.

Dealing with LBS is not an option they are not niner dealer plus all the shops around my tend to tag a high margin on everything they sell (alot of reach people around) lol :). I think I will get Naked carbon one and that should go well with the whole bike black on green theam.
