Rack to specifically carry backpack, in the US - found one in another country
 

I recently ran across this from someone who apparently uses is to carry their camera bag on their bike -

When I was going to school I always wished I could find a rack that was specifically designed to let me carry my backpack on my bike, other than trying to tie a milk crate to my regular bike rack.

Has anyone seen something like this in the US?

It can be used as a pannier on a regular rack or like a trunk bag on their Arkel Randonneur Rack.

Still curious if anyone has seen a rack for a generic backpack before...I know in school that Arkel bag would *not* have been big enough for all my stuff, lol.

Another option that may work for you (I just found them & posted a thread about them) are Surly Junk Straps. I've always had problems with my backpack moving around on a regular rear rack. A pair oft he Junk Straps solved that. I tie them so the bag faces front to rear & the straps go side to side, then I pull them snug & all is well. This is really the first strapping system that I've been completely happy with for my backpack so far.

If you do get the klickfix, please report back on how you like it. I was eyeing one of them a few months back, but never did pull the trigger.
