Ergs/brifters on a flat bar set up?

Anyone running this kind of set-up? Working well for you? Photos?

Thanks!

I've seen them on mustache bars. Why would you want them on flat bars vs. a traditional flat bar shifter?

I really liked the set-up I saw on someone else's bike: Shimano R-770 shifters on a flat bar ending with Ergon GC2 grips. But, I have some brifters already, so just am exploring options.

There are "Fitness Bike" groups from both Campag, (in the past, I just looked)
and Shimano..
.. essentially a flat bar skinny tire bike, Trekking bikes are another type,
32~37 wide tire capacity...

this is for the Australian Market.

Shimano has flatbar brifters for mtn bikes

I wasn't able to get brifters to work on flat bar, It made it so I had barely any lever travel and I was using SORAs so the down shift was on the bottom.

Shimano has flatbar brifters for mtn bikes
for best performance the Front derailleur needs to be from the MTB parts list, then.
44t max on those..
or .. see my link above.. [#4]
