Brooks Saddle on Thudbuster ST

I am considering buying a Brooks saddle for use with my Thudbuster ST post. Leaning towards the B67 because I want something slightly more springy; if it's too springy I can add the heavier elastomer to the Thudbuster. The saddle I am using now is the one that came with the bike; it's actually not that bad, but it's one of the wider and more padded kinds, and I get kind of pinched where my butt meets my leg. Anyways, I am just wondering if anyone has experience riding a Brooks/Thudbuster combo, and if it's easy to mount onto the post. (I contacted Brooks twice, but get no replies from them).

Oh, and I am putting it on a Townie which I've been rebuilding, so I'm sitting upright with pretty much all my weight on my backside.

The springs on the B67 are _very_ stiff. I weigh around 170, and can feel them give just slightly when my entire weight is on the saddle. Unless you're bottoming out the travel on your thudbuster, I can't imagine they'd have any effect.

I thought the springs would be quite stiff; basically I was thinking, though, that the B67 would have a little more give than a saddle without springs.

BTW, I have read some threads on here that say LBS is best place to buy saddles, but the only bike shop I like in my city is basically only a mechanic's shop.

Re : Thudbusters
Pretty easy to fit, a thumbwheel and a 9mm, wrench

the elastomers are color coded for weight range on the LT, grey>blue>black>purple
at 200# I have 2 black ones..
the ST has weight ranges, for the elastomers, too..

favoring the 67 would suggest a fairly upright Posture
