Panniers for Work Commute w/ laptop
 

Hey all,

Looking for some panniers for my Trek FX. Was looking at the Bontrager City Double Panniers as they look like some quality panniers that could hold my laptop, work shoes and my work clothes for my daily commute to work.

At $99, they seem a bit expensive, but I really like the Bontrager products and they fit my needs. The other ones I saw on Amazon either didnt fit my needs, or seemed kind of cheap.

Any thoughts? I do need panniers with space to fit all my work stuff, including the 15" laptop.

If you want to fork out the cash, Arkel (http://www.arkel-od.com/us/all-categ...e-pannier.html) panniers are pretty awesome. I have a Commuter and it can fit a surprising amount of stuff, it has a laptop pouch too. Not all of those Arkel panniers come with a laptop pouch, though.

i can't say about panniers as I got a pair from Halfords here in the uk, but what i also have is a neoprene case for the laptop. I also try to pack my clothes around it.
