Anyone here use a Bontrager Backrack?

I am looking for a rack to put on my road bike and came across the Bontrager Backrack. I have a few concerns about the rack and thought this might be a good place to ask.

1. Bontragers website says that the backrack II can fit large road bikes... but I can only ever find pictures of them mounted to hybrids and mountain bikes.

2. If it does fit... is it high enough to clear fenders.

I'd be interested to read anything else about it whether good, bad or indifferent. I'm comparing this to others in it's price range, mostly blackburn.

Here is the stock photo:

This is my bike, it has all the threaded bosses for racks and fenders that I would need. Im just worried about clearing the 27in wheels and fenders.

I use one. Make sure you select between BackRack I for smaller frames or BackRack II for larger. Other than that, they are very versatile with long tubular struts to accommodate many frame sizes. The struts are notched for easy cutting and feature removable and adjustable stainless eyelets for multiple mounting options
