Another one sucked in!
 

The other night I took my two girls out with me to the grocery store. It was after dark, and we went through traffic to get there with the youngest (10) on the tandem with me and the oldest (12) on her own Trek. The next day, when the oldest requested a bike ride, I asked her simply, "Road, or trail?" Her answer, to my delight: "Traffic."
Atta girl!!!

Way to go man! Tandems are an awesome gateway drug. :thumb:

You must be very proud! (You're teaching her how to ride safely in traffic, I hope?)

My 7 year old daughter has a trailer bike (mongoose allycat) that I pull with my fenderbeast (Miyata Street Runner).
She hounds me to no end to go for rides and never stops talking about getting a "real street bike, one with gears."

Great story! I have an 8 year old that loves to ride. The other day I asked him if he would like to do a cross country ride when he gets a little older. His response: "Sure, dad!" Priceless...
