Mirror for backswept handlebars
 

Anyone with some recommendations for a handlebar mirror for my KHS Green.

I don't really care for the little mirrors attached to glasses or helmets.

I tried the German mirror from Rivendell which didn't really work.

Yes I have. I guess I was looking for somebody with experience with different mirrors. Most of the mirrors you find on Amazon are bar-end mirrors that won't work for back-swept handlebars.

Sorry I can't come up with a suggestion, but I'm curious why the Rivendell mirror did not work for you. Is it a mounting or visibility issue? I was thinking of getting this when I swap out my flat bar for a Soma Sparrow.

This has quite a bit of adjustability and reach for a bar end. I've used it on pull backs and drop bars as well as flat and MTB style.

Stay away from the inexpensive old school style bicycle specific chrome mirrors. The clamping mechanism is cheesy (a flimsy piece of strip steel) and the ball joint at the back of the mirror is usually cheap and has too much play in it. If you want the old school look then get a version intended for motorcycle use because they are much more robust with a decent handlebar clamp.
