Should I create some reviews?
 

As a commuter, I several bags and accessories.

When I am looking into them I like to read reviews and see videos. Often times, there are not video review of things I am looking for other than what the manufacture has provided, if anything at all.

I have been thinking of reviewing items I have purchased for the benefit of future prospectors but am on the fence about it.

In addition to pros, cons, cost, etc I would go into carrying capacity of bags and what not. I would not list cubic inches but show how much items I could fit or not fit in the bag as a visual reference.

I probably would not watch a video unless it was showing how bright lights are, but I love reading reviews from BF members instead of the usual astro-turfers.

Thats good to know but whats an astro-turfer? Never heard that phrase before.

Yes, and showing what "stuff" can be stuffed is a lot more helpful than size or capacity in abstract terms.

I rely on reviews for pretty much everything I buy. I have even done a couple of youtube video reviews and have (like you) been thinking about doing some more (just not enough time). I fully support anyone who does video reviews of products and say go for it. Just make sure the review is detailed and shows shows the things that people want to know that the manufacturer doesn't say on their site. Videos are a great idea.

However, I've never had a problem understanding volume measurements like cubic inches or cubic feet. If you want to create another standard measurement system based on common objects, please also include the cubic in/ft measurement. Also include the WxLxH. For me, the best visual reference is seeing the item in use on a bike.
