New Bars!
So, I crashed the bike that my wife's uncle gave me a couple of weeks ago and had been riding my MTB to work ever since. I decided I was just going to ride the MTB until winter came and I would get new bars for the road bike during winter. Well, after spending a good amount of time on the road bike and then switching to the MTB, I realized how much better the road bike was and decided to get some new bars for it. While I was down at the local recycle bike shop, the guy talked me into going with some bullhorns and I am glad I did. They are so comfortable! I can't wait to ride this thing home today!

What a difference! |
That bike is very nice. Like the bar choice too.

Originally, I only saw bullhorns on fixies. Its interesting seeing them on geared bikes more often.

Nice looking whip.

I've been thinking about converting over to some bullhorns. Question- the brake cables are routed through the handlebars? I'm only seeing one set of cables in those pics, and that looks to be from the shifters...

The shifter cables are routed through the bar tape. The brake cables are the black ones that you are seeing.
