I went a different route this morning. It took me 3 blocks out of my way due to MAX tracks and street rerouting. The up side is that I did not have to deal with the school. I will continue this route.

May have been YOUR safest option but not the legal option or the safest for the people in the cross walk. The other option I havent heard is that the person in the vehicle behind you may have been the father of the person that you "dodged" in the cross walk.
