SKS Alleycat Breakaway System .. Yay! or maybe nay?
How does the breakaway system work on the SKS Alleycat Fenders?
I was on the way to school this morning and I ran over some grubby fall foliage .. kicked up a decent sized twig the thickness of a fat Sharpie and heard a *Twang*.
Went about a mile when i started hearing springy vibration and I thought it was my u-lock rattling on my rack and I looked down and one of the struts on my front fender had disconnected from the fender. But it was missing the nut that holds the strut to the fender ...
I thought the break away was the rubber connection between the lower strut and fork?
