Cheapest place in Toronto (also online) for winter studded tires?

I would like to know what are the best winter tires right now and also the cheapest in Toronto (preferred) and online.

I prefer to buy locally if I can. If possible a list of the top 5 or top 10 would help.

Bought mine at MEC. They are not cheap, but they do the job. I have mountain bike size. Now for sale.

MEC definitely and sometimes urbane cycles.

absolutely cheapest place is REI https://www.rei.com/product/780258/no...e-tire-26-x-19 for nokian M&G W160, or https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ for schwalbe marathon winter or ice spikers.

nokian M&G W160 is quite possibly the best for toronto roads, which don't freeze often, but have plenty of slush and packed ruts.

< $42 for W160s. Less than REI.

I got mine from here based purely on searching around for lowest price (never heard of them or had them recommended before). I ended up buying enough for free shipping, and no issues with the products or delivery.

I also got them to do a price match on some BB7 disc brakes.

Just remember to avoid the ones with plain steel studs, like Innova. There's a reason why those are so cheap.

Stick with carbide studs.

Got decent prices on Marathon Winter 700x35c's at Wiggle (~50 each?). Said in stock late November, just got shipment notice today -- must be a ploy to prevent coupon usage. Probably better options around if you're looking for 26in tires...
