very nice. 54F out, 58F back this morning. was a getting a little warm in a short sleeve jersey and baggy knickers. glad i switched out the Bern helmet for the roadie.

A nice warm morning at 65f (18C). Rain coming in somtime, but I made it in before anything started falling. Going home may be a different matter.

Dark, cool, and humid. Very small amount of rain must have scared a few away. I have been out for over an hour and only two other cyclists.

BTW - isn't today the start of bike to work week? We should be seein more posts here today.

A cloudy overcast sky with 51f degrees for a temp. It was a nice ride into work. I saw a couple walking their dog and said good morning as I rode up from behind them, they were on the sidewalk I was on the road, the poor woman jumped and screamed, I guess I scared her, and the dog lunged at me, good thing he was on a leash. Oh well, just trying to be friendly.

Very light mist/rain on the way in. Had my rain top on but no need for other rain gear. New Keens claim to provide odor control, we'll see.

Dry, overcast, no wind. 55F/13C. Traffic was heavier than normal. Got hung up waiting for a big dump truck with a trailer to back into a construction site. I stopped with traffic rather than filter up to the front of the line. Figured I'd set a good example. :p

Oh yeah, I forgot until just now: It's "Way to Go" week. Encouraging people to get out of their cages and ride, walk, or take the bus to work. So traffic was heavier than normal and I only saw one bicyclist, riding the other way. :rolleyes:

Weatherman forecast rain all day. However, it wasn't raining when I was ready to leave for my commute. So, later for the rain, I am riding..;)

Pulled muscle is now sufficiently healed that I rode the full five miles without cheating on a bus/rack. It's good to be back in the saddle.

It's good to be back in the saddle after taking the weekend off. Rain is forecast again but that's the nice thing about Georgia summers; it doesn't matter. I stuff everything in a ziplock bag and just go.

Low 70's. Light traffic. Clear skies. No wind. Beautiful sunrise. I cut 10 minutes off my best time so far.

A light overcast, but highs up to 70 degrees.

Pushing 50F this am, suppsed to hit 80. I wound up riding out w/ my wife who works a mile from my office. Monday am, especially after not riding all weekend, I am pretty jackrabbitty but we made it work.

I rode by today, and that turtle disappeared.

Nice ride. I took my time getting to work and I took the long route. It was fantastic weather for a ride. Only thing is that I need to remember to bring along a sweat rag now that summer weather has arrived again.

Heavy pouring down rain, but warm at 66f (19c). Swells in the streets and at least one car pulled over in an area I did not expect to see a car pulled to the side. I rode further in the street and the cars made wider berths, so this ride worked fine. My guess is that the same cars that I see every morning know that I am out there, mentally and physically.

Beautiful with clear skies and about 78 degrees F. No wind. Saw three riders on my way in this morning. That's a 200% increase from yesterday.

Temps in the mid 50's this am, with overcast sky. The ride in was nice. Rain is coming for the evening hopefully I make it home before the rain.

first commute of the year (22km RT). weather is good and bike is good.

It was a wet one but warm. Full rain gear on..I dunno, somethimes I like the change of pace.

Drizzly and overcast. 61F/16C. Normal traffic, with drivers behaving well.

My office building feels like the aircon has been off all night. Air is stale and humid. Do not like.

Edit: I just heard a maintenance guy tell someone the air conditioning is off while they change some things. Ugh. Pant.

I'm back! Again. For today, anyway.

Back in April, I rode my wife's way-too-small mountain bike to work once, and it proved to be a less than fun experience, so I didn't try that again. This past weekend, I finally got my new commuter bike build to a point where it's rideable - it's still not finished (not nearly fredly enough yet to be called a commuter bike), but it got me to work. I'll be sure to post pics in the appropriate spots on the forum when I get a chance.

Nice weather today, making for a nice inaugural commute on the new bike.
