got one with the fold up rear bags. like it, use it all the time.
Considered some large panniersto use without the trunk combo but like the fact I can fold them up when loaded lightly and eliminate the sail effect.
I put a piece of innertube under the track to eliminate rattling.

Just got mine over the holidays so haven't used it much, but I like it a lot. Clearly, it's not for lugging a ton of stuff, but if you pack well, there's a good amount of space. I was using a rack-mounted basket which I switched to my winter commuter mountain bike, and this looks much more streamlined on my touring bike. Heel kick is no problem given the long wheelbase. Hoping it holds up. Enjoy using it!

To those who asked about my experience with the bag coming off when I was using just the clip, yes, I was using the Topeak rack as well. It seemed very secure to me, too, and I had assumed the velcro was not needed at that point. I don't know exactly how it happened... it was as I was crossing a fairly rough interesection. The vibration apparently somehow caused it to work loose and it slid off the back (I had already ridden several miles). Maybe I just had it crammed too full of stuff. Maybe I'm just lucky that way. I dunno. I was just really glad that none of the cars behind me ran over my stuff!

I have this rain cover for my bag, can be used with panniers down, don't remember what I paid though. I think it was pricy. Used it several times and it works well, the only drawback is that it covers up any light you have clipped on the back of the bag.

I've been using mine for five years, no problems. No heel strike either, even when I put it on my road bike.

I have had my topeak trunk bag for over a year, and it works fine no problems.

I just added this Topeak rack and bag only to discover a slight rattle after installing the bag on the rack. Has anyone had this issue and come up? Any adjustments or fixes out there?
Love the bag and all about it’s utility, but the slight rattle is not gonna cut it. If I figure out a fix, I will post up.
Thanks in advance.

Self-adhesive Velcro

I had a slight rattle on mine too. I put a length of the hook side of self-adhesive Velcro down the middle of the rack and the rattle was gone.

Perfect fix, no more rattle Thanks Ragnar!

I've had my Topeak for about a year-and-a-half now and I've learned to just ignore the rattle. To put your mind at ease, mine has never fallen off, or even come loose. It's a great bag and rack combo, isn't it?

Glad to see this thread. I was mulling over choices in another thread and chose the Topeak.

I've had my bag for more than six years and I'm very happy with it. My rack is a special by Topeak for Scott and my dear wife has an Explorer rack on her dutch-style 3-speed. Between us we have the trunk bag, the rear wire basket, the Trolley Tote and a home-brew.

When my local grocer switched out his shopping baskets a couple of years ago, he sold out the old ones for next to nothing. I grabbed a bunch to use for storage in the garage. I've put an MTX "sliding-and-clicking" thingy on one and use it when I go grocery shopping.

Very nice! I'm going to have to remember that those are available to buy and attach to things.

So I can put one of those Fixer 6 thingies on my work briefcase and attach it to my rack**********

Nnnnnnaaah, never mind. I just checked it out further and it's only for the basket you showed. PSYCH!!!!
