lost my bag, and best tool set...
(whine) I lost my trunk bag, and in it my 20 year old tool set. It was smaller than a wedge bag, barely more than a standard envelope, and the tools were not heavy duty, but they were easy on my hands. The wrenches were tire irons on the other end, and I used them even when I was doing repairs at home rather than the more expensive tools my partner owns, because they were so easy to use. The expense of replacing the contents of my bag is painful enough, but I have tried to find another tool set like the one I had, and they only seem to make those multi-tool things now... (anybody know what I am talking about, and where to find a set?)

I believe you are talking about Mafac tools. Small (4 wrench) sets came with some French bikes in the 70's, larger sets were available. I do not know if these are made anymore but I have seen them on e-bay.
