I like biking now than shooting, but I still wouldn't trade my AR's and my Saiga-12. It is better to have 'em.....for when they come..... |

You're smart dude! You knew all along didn't you? That was post #13. That's like 90 posts ago! We've all wasted so much time and energy on this guy! Well, for now on, you're the man, Stickman! :thumb: |

I have a few decent bikes now, but I started with a DiamondBack Hybrid I got as a gift. I installed fenders and Trekking bars, bungee'd a tennis bag on the rack and away I went commuting. Its no high end bike by anyone's standard, but to this day I still yet to encounter any problems with it. Find a decent rigid fork MTB/Hybrid in CL and start commuting already. Replace parts as needed. Good luck and enjoy! |
$20 per week is way high for maintenance. Could spend that at first I guess, getting lock, lights, spare tubes, patch kit, spare tire, tools....
I spend about $20 per quarter. I ride on $10 tires tho, sometimes splurge and get $20 tires. |

if you can save $20/week then wait til you have an extra $100-$160 to spend on your bike up front.
