Aside from the 3-wide weaving teens trying to play chicken with everyone, Indian folk walking on the wrong side and parents with loose toddlers wandering all over; this one was my favorite from the President's Day break in February:

The usual onslaught of weekday 25+ MPH wannabe racer muppets are at least predictable.

True. An under appreciated benefit of the winter commute are the months of solitude and unimpeded riding. At times that can be mistaken for loneliness and the fight for survival when it's 10 below and the wind is howling. +1 I love the mostly empty paths and bike lanes. Although this year I was never totally alone; even on the ice-ruttiest days there were still at least 3 or 4 other cyclists out.

Of course, this winter in MN was not much of a winter at all. Only a week or two below zero and not much snow.
